We are manufacturers of precast concrete and reconstituted stone. Established in 1984, we have contracts running right through 2026 all around the UK. We manufacture precast concrete items including precast stairs and landings, smaller items such as sills, lintels, posts, coping etc., and a range of reconstituted stone.
This job is general labouring in a concrete factory. Main duties will be:
- Loading our own lorry and customer vehicles
- Getting orders ready for delivery
- Looking after goods in the yard
- Setting up and filling moulds
- Helping our existing employees with their duties
Previous experience is not essential as we will provide full training; however, experience of working on a building site would be an advantage. This is a full-time permanent job within a long-established company with long-term potential. All work is based at our premises, there is no travel involved. A fork lift licence is desirable, and we can assist you with a refresher course if you haven’t driven a fork lift in a while.

- Putting precast items onto pallets
- Managing the items in the yard
- Filling and turning out precast items as required
- Assisting colleagues as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Helpful attitude and willingness to learn are the most important skills required
- Fork lift licence would be desirable; we can assist if you had one in the past and it has lapsed
- Previous labouring experience in a precast or building site environment would be welcome
- Construction industry experience would be beneficial
