Tasks
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in their own homes. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to follow care plans meticulously while ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients.
As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Supporting clients in maintaining their personal hygiene and overall health.
- Implementing and following care plans tailored to each individual\’s needs.
- Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Documenting client progress and any changes in their condition accurately.
- Providing companionship and emotional support through our enablement service. this can be sit with the clients or encourage them to go out or do activities within their home or out in the public to enhance the quality of life.
- We offer domestic to clients that are not as able to do themselves.
- Driving clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Requirements
Experience
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
- Previous experience in home care or a care home environment is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
- We have an in house moving and handling assessor who provides this training every year.
- Ongoing training available which you get paid for.
- Basic documentation and communication skills.
- A genuine drive to provide compassionate care and support to those in need.
