Location: Chelsea, London
Hours: 8am-6pm Monday-Friday, alternate Saturdays (8am-1pm), plus on-call rota every 4 weeks

We are working with a prestigious property business managing one of London's most iconic estates to find a Live In Porter to support the day-to-day running of a high-end residential and mixed-use portfolio in Chelsea. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, customer-focused individual with a background in residential property or facilities management to join a committed and supportive team in a visible, hands-on role.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of the estate. From maintaining building standards and assisting tenants to coordinating contractors and responding to emergencies, you will be the eyes and ears on the ground, protecting the estate's integrity and enhancing the resident experience.
You will carry out regular property inspections, oversee maintenance works, ensure health & safety compliance (including fire door and alarm checks), and act as a key liaison between residents, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service to residential and commercial tenants
- Conduct routine and emergency property inspections
- Monitor contractor access, works, and standards on site
- Respond to urgent issues such as leaks, break-ins, or vandalism
- Maintain working knowledge of assigned buildings and their status
- Coordinate meter readings, key handling, and mail drops
- Support tenant onboarding with property checks and access
- Liaise with teams including Property Management, Lettings, Sustainability, and Security
- Identify and report estate-wide issues including safety risks, anti-social behaviour, or criminal activity
