About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Part-Time Caretaker to join a friendly development in Dartford. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining both the buildings and surrounding grounds to a high standard. This is a varied role suited to an all-rounder who is comfortable carrying out a wide range of general tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general day-to-day repairs and maintenance across the development
- Address issues relating to doors, locks, paving, and general wear and tear
- Collect and dispose of bulky items from around the development
- Operate the onsite buggy for transport across the site (driving is essential)
- Undertake painting and decorating tasks as required
- Carry out basic repairs within communal areas and parks
- Clean and maintain bin rooms and surrounding areas
- Install signage where necessary
- Identify and report maintenance issues proactively
- Conduct testing of systems such as AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) and EML (Emergency Lighting) where required
