Job Description

Day Porter – Maternity Cover (12-Month Contract)Location: Bond Street/Oxford CircusSalary: £30,000 – £33,000 per yearHours: 3 on / 3 off, 12-hour shifts (08:00 – 20:00)Start Date: 1st DecemberContract: 12 months with a break clause at 6 monthsLeave: 20 days including bank holidays (option for day in lieu)Pension: Standard

What You'll Do

  • Welcome residents and visitors with a professional, friendly approach

  • Maintain building security, including CCTV monitoring and regular patrols

  • Manage deliveries, contractors, and access to ensure smooth operations

  • Keep communal areas clean and well-presented

  • Respond calmly to emergencies, liaising with emergency services when needed

  • Support the House Manager to ensure the building runs seamlessly

  • Work alongside another day porter, maintenance staff, and cleaning team

  • Residents are high-net-worth individuals; discretion and professionalism are key

  • Small, established team that values reliability and steady, consistent support

What We're Looking For

  • DBS check required

  • Previous experience in a porter, security, or similar role is advantageous

  • Calm, dependable, and professional under pressure

  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
