Office Support Roles – Reception & Sales Administration

About Abbatt Property Recruitment

Abbatt Property Recruitment is a specialist recruiter with a long-established reputation for placing temporary and permanent staff across London's residential property sector. We work with some of the capital's most prestigious property management companies, and our central office is the engine room that keeps everything running.

We are currently looking for two people to join our High Holborn office in office support roles — one focused on front-of-house reception and one providing dedicated administrative support to our Sales Director.

The Opportunity

These are hands-on, people-facing roles at the heart of a busy, close-knit recruitment business. Whether you are a natural at making people feel welcome or thrive on keeping a senior leader organised and on top of their priorities, we want to hear from you.

Both roles are based full-time in our High Holborn office, Monday to Friday. Typical hours are 9 am to 5:30 pm but we will consider shorter hours for the reception role.

Reception

You will be the first point of contact for everyone who walks through our door — candidates, clients, and colleagues. You will manage the front desk, coordinate meeting rooms, and ensure the office runs smoothly day to day. You will be organised, warm, and unflappable.

Sales Administration

You will provide dedicated support to our Sales Director, helping to keep a fast-moving desk running efficiently. This will include managing communications, preparing documentation, maintaining records, coordinating schedules, and handling ad hoc tasks as priorities shift. You will be proactive, discreet, and comfortable working at pace.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in a reception, administrative, or office support role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A professional, calm approach — particularly when things get busy
  • Confidence with standard office systems and software

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a recruitment or property environment
  • Familiarity with central London and its transport links

What We Offer

  • Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience and role
  • Location: High Holborn, Central London
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (9am to 5:30pm) - negotiable for reception role
  • Benefits: Private medical insurance, Employee Assistance Programme, social budget, complimentary lunch two Fridays per month, and social and client networking opportunities
  • Progression: Development opportunities within a growing business
