Overview
We are looking for a versatile and hands-on Maintenance & Facilities Operative to support the Building Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy multi-occupied office building.
This is a dynamic role with a varied mix of general maintenance, security, building support and front-of-house duties. No two days are likely to be the same, so we are looking for someone who is practical, proactive and happy to get involved across different areas of the building.
You will play an important role in helping to ensure the building is secure, well maintained and running smoothly, while providing a professional and helpful service to tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general building maintenance and minor repairs.
- Undertake basic painting, decorating and general upkeep.
- Replace light bulbs and carry out basic maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and assist with building security and CCTV systems.
- Support access control and general security procedures.
- Assist tenants with day-to-day requests and queries.
- Provide reception and front-of-house support when required.
- Sort and distribute post and deliveries.
- Carry out regular checks of the building and report any issues.
- Assist with maintaining communal areas and ensuring the building is kept clean and presentable.
- Support the Building Manager with the day-to-day operation of the building.
- Liaise with contractors and assist with access when required.
- Respond to maintenance or security issues promptly.
- Carry out other reasonable duties required to support the building and wider team. xgikmsk
