Location: South Bank, London
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent

Working Hours

Monday-Friday: 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm (to be agreed).

Alternate Saturdays: 9am-1pm.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Cleaner/Yardman to join an established on-site team at a residential development in South Bank, London.

This is a hands-on, varied role combining internal cleaning, outdoor upkeep and general groundskeeping. The successful Cleaner/Yardman will take pride in maintaining clean, tidy and welcoming surroundings for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain communal areas, corridors, walkways and shared spaces.
• Vacuum, clean glass, skirting boards and internal surfaces.
• Manage rubbish collection, bins and general waste disposal.
• Jet wash external areas and use a leaf blower to keep pathways clear.
• Maintain podium gardens and communal outdoor spaces.
• Support general site upkeep, including occasional manual handling and heavy lifting.

Essential Criteria

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a residential or commercial environment.
• Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work, manual tasks and occasional heavy lifting.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Friendly and approachable, with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
