We are looking for an experienced and reliable Freelance Machinist to join our creative fashion and textile studio on a freelance basis.
The successful candidate will be confident working independently and able to produce garments and alterations to a high professional standard, with excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of garment construction.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out garment alterations and adjustments to a professional standard.
Sew and construct garments accurately and neatly.
Operate and work confidently with industrial sewing machines.
Work with different fabrics and garment types.
Follow patterns, measurements and garment specifications.
Complete hems, zips, seams, adjustments, repairs and other alterations as required.
Ensure a high-quality finish on every garment.
Work efficiently and meet agreed deadlines.
