This hands-on role is perfect for recent graduates eager to develop project management skills while working with cutting-edge automation technologies. You’ll support experienced project managers and specialist engineers to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget, gaining practical experience and contributing to innovative solutions across the energy sector.

The two-year ABB UK Graduate Programme offers a structured start to your career, combining hands-on experience with formal learning and mentoring. You will work on real customer projects alongside experienced colleagues, developing practical skills and confidence in a professional environment. The programme is designed to support long-term development within ABB’s UK and global teams.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support all phases of customer projects, helping ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination, including site visits and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and support mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and clients to maintain clear communication and resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications for the Role:

  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related STEM discipline.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to participate and embrace in all aspects of the ABB UK Graduate development program.
  • Full UK Driver’s License.
