Your Role and Responsibilities
- Identify and define technical requirements for projects.
- Ensure system development meets analysis and design requirements within safety standards.
- Validate solutions within the planned period and at the lowest possible cost, resolving issues as they arise.
- Manage and develop the PEM to ensure proper system implementation at client sites.
- Create and deliver work plans, budgets, and risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.
- Manage safety to reduce occupational risks and eliminate accidents during project development and start‑up.
- Ensure clear, reliable, and technically accurate documentation throughout the process.
- Support project managers and lead engineers in technical reviews, customer discussions, and problem resolution, both remotely and on‑site.
Qualifications for the Role
- At least 5 years’ experience in customer service and incident resolution with technical or managerial experience in PLC programming environments.
- Solid knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including PLC programming under IEC61131 and structured text (ST).
- Strong focus on safe work practices and adherence to workplace safety guidelines.
- High level of self‑motivation, curiosity, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Collaborative, solution‑focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Professional competence in general and technical English, both spoken and written.
- You are passionate about robotics and autonomous vehicles.
- Relevant engineering qualifications and a demonstrated track record in AMR deployment and commissioning.
- You hold a current UK driving licence, valid.
