This position reports to: Trade & Transportation Specialist

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, maintain, and improve transport/documentation processes. Each day, you will ensure goods are received and shipped while meeting quality, legal, and cost parameters. You will also showcase your expertise by optimizing inbound and/or outbound processes and delivery of goods to external and internal clients.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Generating the required transportation documentation and ensuring completeness of documentation.
  • Managing operational relationships with transport suppliers and implementing all transportation-related plans and processes.
  • Validating transportation invoices and ensuring proper allocation and visibility of expenses.
  • Creating and maintaining accurate transport records, ensuring all shipment information and supporting documentation is up to date.
  • Supporting the transport team by scheduling deliveries, tracking shipments, and responding to routine queries from customers and carriers.

Qualifications for the Role

  • 1-2 years' experience supporting customs clearance activities and ensuring compliance with import procedures.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal customers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other external partners.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • A passion for delivering a high-quality service and providing excellent support to internal customers.
