This position reports to the Service Manager. As a Home Based, Field Service Engineer in the Kent area, youâll represent ABB on customer paper manufacturing facilities.

Your Role And Responsibilities
- Provide highâlevel field and inâhouse technical support, including outâofâhours support.
- Fulfil Service Agreement obligations, demonstrated by the use of ABB ServicePro and other reporting tools.
- Provide application support and software troubleshooting to customers, on site and by remote dialâin.
- Advise clients on maintenance procedures, evolution, site planning, operational methods, process measurement and control.
- Travel to sites anywhere in the UK for above activities in addition to primary areas of responsibility.
- Prepare and write technical reports for internal and external use.
- Promote sales of maintenance services and equipment, including spare parts, and advise Sales department of possible sales leads.
- Assist Sales and Account management with preparation of quotations.
- Commission equipment in the field as part of the project team.
