Reporting toService Operations Manager
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality service work across low to medium complexity projects, following ABB processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Plan and execute work with a strong \âfirstâtime right\â focus, building trusted customer relationships and responding with urgency, professionalism and ownership.
Provide remote technical support to customers during standby time.
Work with customers (onâsite) to identify opportunities to improve operations and eliminate pain points.
Perform field service tasks, identify technical issues, and analyze through remote or onâsite activity in service categories and products.
Assist in preparing material lists needed for service activity, ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality.
Prepare work packs, including risk assessments and method statements.
Troubleshoot equipment/process failures, request proactive corrective actions, and make recommendations to avoid future issues.
Qualifications
Highly skilled in electrical/mechanical engineering solutions, preferably in marine and ports industry.
Demonstrated flexibility with schedules and selfâsufficiency in the field; ABB product experience desirable.
Willing to work in demanding environments, both in the UK and internationally, including on and offshore.
Relevant tertiary qualification in electrical engineering and/or a demonstrated professional track record.
Good communication skills with a wide variety of people, both work colleagues and the customer side.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word and Excel).
Hold a current UK driving licence.
