This Position reports to: IS Program Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will lead complex Information Systems (IS) projects with a strong focus on IS infrastructure, security, and foundational platforms. You will be responsible for defining the delivery approach, coordinating global cross-functional teams, managing financials and risks, and ensuring successful delivery of business-critical IS initiatives aligned with ABB strategies and governance.
You will plan, schedule, coordinate, and deliver IS project outcomes within agreed time, scope, cost, and quality, while acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and an escalation point for project issues. You will ensure that project execution follows ABB IS standards, methodologies, and compliance requirements, and that business value realization is achieved through effective implementation and adoption.

You will be mainly accountable for but not limited to initiatives related to:
- Leading end-to-end delivery of complex IS infrastructure-related projects, including network modernization, cloud services, security initiatives, and platform upgrades.
- Defining, maintaining, and governing all project documentation such as scope, schedule, financial plans, risk and issue logs, and communication plans.
- Managing project financials, including budgets, forecasts, vendor costs, and invoicing across regions.
- Proactively identifying, mitigating and escalating risks and dependencies while ensuring stakeholder alignment and satisfaction.
- Defining program and project scope, cost/budget, resources, timelines, and detailed work allocation in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Reporting and managing risks at the program level, ensuring proactive mitigation and structured escalation.
- Organizing, monitoring, and controlling activities to ensure successful stage-gate achievement and optimal use of global resources.
- Working to realize business value through successful program delivery, quality outcomes.
Qualifications for the role
- Strong experience in Information Systems project management, with proven delivery of complex or multi-country projects, preferably within IS infrastructure or security domains.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience managing scope, schedule, cost, risk, and stakeholders in enterprise IS environments.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure technologies such as cloud platforms, networks, identity and access management, cybersecurity, or other foundational IS services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project financials, governance routines, and vendor relationships in global organizations.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Power BI or similar).
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English and ability to work effectively with globally distributed, multicultural teams.
