This position reports to: Sales, Service and Project Execution Lead.
As a participant in the Global Discovery Early Talent Program - Marketing and Sales track, you will assume hands-on responsibilities from day one. The exceptional colleagues you collaborate with, the challenging projects you undertake, and the global scope of our business will provide you with the experience necessary to build a world-class career in this field.
You will be part of a 24-month rotational program designed to enhance your skills in inside sales, marketing, leadership, and ABB product knowledge. Your rotations will be within the Electrification business area, encompassing divisions such as ELDS, ELSB/SP, ELSE, and ELIP. You will also participate in a June orientation alongside other Discovery Program participants. This global initiative is tailored for early talent training, personal and professional growth, and networking opportunities.
Please note the selected candidate would need to be available to start the program on 1st May 2026.
The program consists of three assignments in different roles:
- First 6 Months: An assignment in your home country to introduce you to the business, complete with relevant KPIs.
- Second 6 Months: An assignment abroad to gain insights into ABB’s operations in a different environment and role, allowing you to work on an exciting project with a new team, thereby expanding your network and learning curve.
- Last 12 Months: An assignment back in your home country or business, where you will deepen your understanding of the business and your division, preparing for your final position.
Throughout the program, participants will engage in leadership competency development, a learning journey, and technical courses to enhance their skills. Depending on the assignment role, you may find yourself in one of the following positions subject to country/business requirements:
- Tendering/Sales Support
- Sales Specialist
- Marketing Specialist
- Product Marketing Specialist
- Field Application Engineer (FAE) / Technical Promotion
- Business Development
- Project Management

What kind of candidate are we looking for?
We are looking for recent graduates with a solid academic foundation, preferably holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Electrical Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines, specifically within the electrification sector. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Educational Background: Preferred degrees include:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- B. Sc. in Marketing
- Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field
- Bachelor or Master of Business Administration
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales Management or related fields
- Degrees in Communications, Advertising, or similar disciplines
