Reports to: Sales Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
Within our Instrumentation business, our high-tech measurement instruments help optimize industrial processes, improve energy efficiency, and reduce atmospheric emissions.
Reporting to the WEMEA (Western Europe & Middle East Africa) Instrumentation Manager and working with a team of around 20 people, you will implement the global strategy (sales and operations) in France and drive the growth and performance of the Instrumentation business, ensuring strategic plans are executed in alignment with the global strategy.
- You will deploy the commercial and operational strategy of the Instrumentation business in the French market, ensuring market share growth and customer satisfaction.
- You will manage the sales teams (account managers) and sales support (quotations, sales administration/order management), either directly or through two intermediate managers.
- You will be responsible for the economic performance (P&L) of the Instrumentation business (growth, margins, profitability) and present results to WEMEA management.
- You will build lasting relationships with clients and prospects through field presence, negotiation of framework agreements with strategic partners, and collaboration with the Analytics business.
- You will develop the services business to strengthen customer loyalty and the installed base.
- You will optimize internal processes to ensure efficiency and responsiveness to customer needs.
- You will lead, develop, and motivate a team of around 20 people, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
Your Profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B sales in the French market.
- Strong knowledge of the instrumentation market and its industrial players.
- At least 5 years of experience in a commercial management role.
- Experience in an international group is a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proven leadership, team management, and strategic orientation skills will make the difference.
