Strategic Marketing and Sales Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Each day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues. This role contributes to the Motion Service Sales Division in the Southern Region. Main stakeholders are Direct End Users, Channel Partners, and Internal Channels, Motion Product Divisions.
This position is home-based, reporting to our Daresbury head office.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Penetrate into IB, promote upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions to benefit customers and ABB.
- Understand the channel strategy, establish related prices, prepare sales plans, review them, and propose recovery plans when needed.
- Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities using market trend information and exploring potential new service portfolios.
- Act as a marketer/salesperson for ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).
- Support the Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in preparing demanding offers.
- Take ownership of specific customer cases to ensure efficient resolution of issues.
- Undertake monthly forecasts and regular status reviews, proposing recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls.

- You are highly skilled in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and motors, machines & variable speed drives applications and services across various industrial markets.

- You are passionate about value-based selling and providing your customers with the best advice to help them make informed decisions about options available.
