The Role
Are you a culturally agile marketing strategist ready to spearhead commercial growth across one of the world's most dynamic and diverse regions? We are looking for a GTM Manager to join the Formula E team. You will be the engine room for our growth in APAC, serving as a passionate marketer who understands that APAC is not just one market, but many and knows exactly how to show up authentically and commercially in each one. Operating with a high degree of cultural intelligence and executional precision, you will be responsible for building and executing the APAC go-to-market plan to drive ticket sales and event attendance across a region spanning multiple time zones, languages and fan cultures. You will balance global strategy with highly localised execution, adapting global frameworks into locally resonant campaigns, activating the right performance marketing mix for each distinct market and keeping every regional stakeholder perfectly aligned and working from the same master plan.
Own the APAC GTM Plan: You build, maintain and own the central APAC go-to-market plan, the single source of truth for all regional marketing activity, audience targeting, channel strategy and ticket sales targets. You are fully accountable for keeping this plan current, commercially grounded and ensuring every internal and external stakeholder works seamlessly from it.
Performance Marketing & Channel Mix: You plan and execute paid and performance marketing activity across the entire APAC region. You are responsible for selecting, deploying and continuously optimising the right mix of digital and traditional channels tailored to the unique media landscape of each specific market.
Drive Ticket Sales & Commercial Conversion: You execute targeted promotional plans that turn brand awareness into hard ticket purchases. You bring a sharp focus to markets where Formula E is still establishing its fan base, ensuring every local activation works harder to build audiences and fill the grandstands.
Promoter Alignment & Agency Management: You serve as the primary link between central ticketing and local race promoters, effortlessly navigating different commercial structures, languages and cultural expectations. Furthermore, you manage regional agency relationships across creative, media and activation, setting clear ambitions, holding partners to strict performance standards and stepping in quickly with solutions if a partnership falters.
Data & Insights Mastery: You closely monitor sales velocity and conversion rates across all regional channels. You dive deep into data to extract the 'why' behind the numbers, feeding those insights back into the core strategy to constantly sharpen your approach.
What we're looking for in you
- The APAC Market Specialist: You possess a deep, nuanced understanding of the cultural, commercial and media landscapes across APAC markets. You know how to confidently navigate these varied ecosystems to make an international brand feel locally relevant.
- The Performance Marketing Expert: You bring hands-on experience running sophisticated paid media and multi-channel marketing campaigns. You maintain a clear, unwavering line of sight between marketing spend and tangible customer acquisition or ticket sales outcomes.
- The Global Communicator: You are an outstanding communicator who can seamlessly translate a global brand vision into local relevance. You have the organisational skills to collaborate and manage relationships effectively across significant time zone differences and language barriers.
- The Analytical Thinker: You are entirely comfortable working inside data dashboards, with a proven ability to translate complex data sets and sales metrics into a clear, actionable story of 'what's next' for campaign performance.
