The Role as a Fabricator / Welder, you will play a key role in the fabrication and assembly of front of house high end metalwork components.

You will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, welding, finishing and installing a variety of materials.

This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team while consistently delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • · Perform welding, fitting, and assembly of components to technical drawings and specification
  • · Interpret drawings, sketches and technical plans to build from start to finish
  • · Select appropriate welding techniques based on project requirements
  • · High quality finishing such as fettling and polishing to various grains and mirror finishes using hand tools to heavier fixed spindle polishers.
  • · Problem solving requiring ability to chose correct fabrication procedures for each job – As each job is generally different.
  • · Complete all required manufacturing documentation accurately and on time
  • · Manage time and workload efficiently to meet production target
  • · Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
  • · Support supervisors and assist with additional tasks as required
  • What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a high skilled, dependable welder who can work independently and within a team, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Skills & Experience

  • · Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements
  • · Strong knowledge of welding and general fabrication procedures
  • · Experienced in building components from technical drawings
  • · High level of manual dexterity and steady hand control required for accurate and high quality cutting , grinding, finishing etc
  • · Ability to meet production deadlines and budgeted hours
  • · Solid understanding of fabrication tools, techniques, and materials
  • · Metal Polishing and Finishing
  • · CSCS card desirable
  • · Ability to work well in a team – Provide input and adapt to requirements by the business.
  • · Able to work away in London from Monday-Friday occasionally as the company required for installation of fabricated goods

Qualifications

  • · 2–3 years of welding/fabrication experience preferred
  • · Experience of high end metalwork preferred
