Abatec is excited to partner with a leading production firm that specialises in intelligent energy metering technology, serving both the domestic and commercial markets. We are looking to recruit a Multiskilled Technician to join their expanding team. Due to ongoing growth, we have a unique opportunity to be part of a technology-driven organisation with genuine long-term career progression as the business continues to expand. This role is ideal for individuals with experience or a strong interest in analogue and digital radio electronics. The Multiskilled Technician position is site-based in Filton (Bristol) and is available on a full-time, permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities
- Investigate and diagnose electronic/electro-mechanical products to meet specified requirements.
- Utilise basic test instruments and specialised testing equipment accurately.
- Provide accurate and timely reports using the correct processes and software.
- Offer additional support in the warehouse and assist with stock movement as needed.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge or interest in radio electronics.
- Experience of working with electro-mechanical products.
- Experience in using test equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong diagnostic skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Warehouse duties.
