Abatec are supporting a leading business in the milling and food production sector. They specialise in producing high-quality food ingredients and operate a busy, modern production facility. We are looking for a reliable Machine Operator / Production Operative to join the team. This role has become available due to growth within the production facility. The successful candidate can expect a long-term, stable position in a supportive and structured environment, with opportunities to develop skills across machinery operation and production processes.
Hours and Pay
- Week 1: 06.00am - 14.00pm
- Week 2: 12.00pm - 00.00am
Key responsibilities
- Operate machinery within a production environment
- Carry out general production and assembly duties
- Handle food products safely and hygienically
- Perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks
- Occasional reach truck forklift operation (experience required)
About you
- Previous production or assembly experience is essential
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavier lifting
