We’re seeking an experienced Marine/Offshore Site Agent to join a high-profile civil engineering project supporting the delivery of critical infrastructure for Hinkley Point C. Based offshore on a marine barge in the Bristol Channel, you’ll oversee operations related to the support of the project, working with a well-established civil engineering contractor.
As a Marine/Offshore Site Agent you will:
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day offshore site activities related to marine works
- Interface with marine crews, engineers, subcontractors, and the shore-based team in Avonmouth
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Monitor progress, report on key milestones, and assist in problem-solving as issues arise
- Maintain accurate site records, RAMS, and other documentation
- Support delivery of works within schedule and budget
Our client requires a Marine/Offshore Site Agent with:
- Proven experience in a Site Agent or Sub Agent role, ideally with marine or offshore project exposure
- Background in civil engineering, preferably with Tier 1/main contractor experience
- Valid offshore or marine safety certifications (e.g. BOSIET, STCW, or equivalent)
- Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills
Salary/Benefits:
- £500 - £600 per day PAYE Umbrella
