- About the Practice
- Established teaching practice serving approximately 15,000 patients.
- Experienced multidisciplinary team including GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Pharmacists, Mental Health Practitioner and First Contact Physiotherapy.
- Modern systems including EMIS Web, Accu Rx Total Triage, Surgery Connect and electronic prescribing.
- Strong commitment to GP training, education and continuous professional development.
- Flexible working and home working available for remote clinics where operationally appropriate.
The Role
As a Salaried General Practitioner, you will deliver high-quality primary care while working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
You will manage a varied clinical workload, contribute to service development, and support the delivery of safe, effective, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face, telephone and remote consultations.
- Assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
- Undertake home visits where clinically required.
- Manage referrals, prescriptions, investigations, results and clinical correspondence.
- Maintain accurate clinical records using EMIS.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives and practice meetings.
- Support GP training, education and supervision where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and inclusion on the GP Register.
- Listed on the Wales Medical Performers List.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous NHS General Practice experience.
- Excellent clinical assessment, communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in EMIS (or similar clinical systems) and Microsoft Office.
- Committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and continuous professional development.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to provide satisfactory professional references.
