Abatec is assisting their client with the recruitment of an Experienced Handover / Quality Manager to help strengthen their project delivery team in Dorset. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a national contractor and specialist in the water sector, turning over c£200M+ delivering Turnkey clean water projects valued from £20 million to over £100 million.

As Quality / Handover Manager you will take ownership of quality management and project handover across a single project or portfolio, ensuring compliance with client systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Working closely with multidisciplinary project teams you will lead the development and delivery of quality plans and handover strategies.

As Quality/Handover Manager you will:

  • Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management Plan in line with project specifications.
  • Ensure all works meet design specifications & client's expectations.
  • Perform inspections, audits, and surveillance to monitor compliance with quality requirements.
  • Work with delivery team, subcontractors & suppliers to ensure materials and workmanship comply with specifications.
  • Develop and manage the project handover strategy, ensuring timely & complete delivery of all required documentation & records.
  • Coordinate the collection, review, and collation of quality records (e.g., test certificates, inspection reports, as-built drawings, O&M manuals).
  • Ensure activities comply with ISO 9001, CDM Regulations, and any environmental or statutory requirements specific to the project.

Our client requires a Quality/Handover Manager with:

  • Educated to HND/HNC and vocational professional/management qualifications or transferable role specific experience.
  • Good working knowledge of all relevant Quality standards.
  • Experience of Quality / Handover management.
  • Internal & external stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communicator.

Salary/Benefits:

  • £50,000 - £60,000
