Abatec is supporting a key client in the recruitment of a SHEQ Manager or Senior SHEQ Manager to help deliver critical water and wastewater infrastructure programmes across South Wales.
This role sits within an established multi-disciplinary delivery team and is integral to maintaining high standards of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) across a major long-term framework.
Combining strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight, the SHEQ/Senior SHEQ Manager will support a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, workforce safety, environmental protection, and quality outcomes across multiple live sites and contractor teams.
As SHEQ / Senior SHEQ Manager you will: Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the SHEQ Management System across framework operations.
Develop assurance programmes, audit schedules and compliance monitoring processes.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including CDM Regulations, HSE guidance and environmental legislation.
