An opportunity to shape and influence work-winning strategies with a leading Marine specialist contractor. With a turnover in excess of £26 million, our client delivers complex and safety-critical marine civil engineering projects across the UK.
As a Senior Estimator you will:
- Have worked on tenders within the Civil Engineering industry.
- Be responsible for preparation and submission of all bids.
- Analyse labour, material and plant subcontractors for best value.
- Have working knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Be experienced in working for a Civil Engineering contractor.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have experience of reviewing contract terms and conditions, identifying and clarifying scope of work at tender stage and creating commercial strategies.
Location: You will be based in our client’s offices near Newton Abbot; however, you will be required to visit client/site offices across the UK.
Hybrid working: There is a possibility of remote working 1 day a week after a successful probation.
Salary: There is no fixed salary banding for this role. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Package: Car allowance, company bonus, company pension scheme, 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays).
