We are looking to hire a number of Trainee Machine Operators for our client’s Extrusion Production Team based in Somerset. The purpose of this role is to operate the extrusion lines safely and efficiently. Previous Extrusion Machine Operating experience would be required. Company is offering: * Steady shifts * Full-time (Permanent) Employment * No weekends! * Full training The overall purpose of the role is to undertake safe, accurate and efficient setting of machines to achieve the company’s safety, quality and production targets and to ensure all procedures are followed with a high level of discipline. Main Duties involve: * To operate plant and machinery within a specified zone, maintaining targeted output with minimal interruption. * Set and adjust machine controls including start-up and shut-down processes * Minimise material usage and wastage * To maintain a general level of tidiness in work areas and ensure punctual timekeeping in accordance with contracted hours.
