A fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected contractor on a flagship Civil Engineering project, the first of its kind in 40 years. Our client requires Site Engineers with experience working for Earthworks contractors and knowledge of GPS/Machine Control plant. Our client has a programme of work for the next 4 years and is recruiting for Site Engineers with Earthworks experience on a permanent basis. Accommodation subsistence paid to employees who live over 100 miles from the project.
Responsibilities
- Have experience working on a construction site with site supervision experience
- Be able to set out and level using Total Stations/GPS/Machine Control
- Be fully conversant with the use of AutoCAD
- Reading and working from technical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring quality, safety, and programme requirements are met
Qualifications
- HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering
- A good understanding of CDM and construction health & safety protocols
- Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of AutoCAD
- Previous experience with bulk earthworks
Salary and Benefits
- £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
- Company vehicle and fuel card
- Paid annual leave, company pension scheme
- £65 per night subsistence paid if working away from home
