Abatec is currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 drivers on behalf of a leading Highways maintenance provider based in and around the Gloucester area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team delivering essential drainage and highways services.
The Role
This is a dual-role position where you will be required to work both as a driver and an operative. You will be responsible for operating jet vac vehicles while also supporting on-site highways and drainage works.

Key Duties
- Driving and operating HGV Class 2 gully and plant vehicles
- Supporting drainage and highways maintenance operations
- Carrying out basic jetting/gully tasks where required
- Ensuring safe operation of plant and compliance with health and safety regulations
Essential Requirements
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience driving plant, jet vac, or gully vehicles is desirable
- HPWJ (High Pressure Water Jetting) experience or ticket desirable
- Strong reliability and a good work ethic
- Ability to work outdoors and as part of a team
