Abatec is assisting their client, a tier‐one Civil Engineering contractor for the recruitment of a permanent Site Engineer in Gloucester to work on the construction and maintenance of major new and existing highways infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have experience on projects including RC structures, drainage, surfacing, 278 works and highways.
As Site Engineer you will:
- Use a robotic total station to provide levelling and surveying across site.
- Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
- Comply with the site‐specific health and safety protocols and to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary.
We require a Site Engineer with:
- Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations.
- A good understanding of construction health & safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills.
- HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Understanding of AutoCAD.
Salary and benefits include:
£40,000 - £45,000 + Additional benefits.
