St David Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a major engineering company delivering a significant highways project based near Stonehouse, Gloucester. Due to continued project demands, we are looking to recruit an organised and proactive Site Administrator to provide key administrative support to the project team throughout the duration of this contract.
This is a busy, site-based role where you will play an important part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the project office, ensuring administration, compliance documentation and site records are maintained efficiently and accurately. This opportunity would suit someone with previous administration experience within construction, engineering or a site-based environment, who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and can confidently manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the site management and project teams
- Maintain site records, filing systems and electronic documentation accurately
- Support with induction paperwork, training records and compliance administration
- Manage incoming calls, emails and site correspondence professionally
- Update trackers, spreadsheets and reports as required by the wider project team
- Support commercial, operational and engineering teams with general administration duties
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and head office teams when required
- Assist with organising meetings, booking rooms and maintaining office supplies
- Ensure the site office remains organised, compliant and operating efficiently
- Support with document management processes where required
- Previous administration experience within construction, engineering or a site-based environment preferred
- Strong IT skills with confidence using Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Able to prioritise workloads and work effectively to deadlines
- Confident communicating with site personnel, contractors and office teams
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and use initiative
- Comfortable working within a live construction or engineering environment
- Professional, reliable and adaptable approach to work
