We're recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a major programme of works on a long-term AMP8 water framework. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a role offering genuine long-term stability, working on a variety of clean and wastewater capital projects across the South West.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates and tender submissions for civil engineering and water infrastructure projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Price earthworks, reinforced concrete structures, pipelines and associated infrastructure works.
- Liaise with operational, engineering and commercial teams throughout the bid process.
- Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
Requirements
- Previous estimating experience within the UK water sector.
- Strong background in civil engineering capital projects.
- Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills.
- Knowledge of NEC contracts would be advantageous.
