Abatec is a multi-award-winning recruitment business based in Weston-super-Mare. For over 37 years, we have been supporting regional and national businesses in finding the very best talent. As part of our continued growth, we are now looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our Civil Engineering freelance delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity to support one of our most successful Recruiters, gaining valuable industry knowledge while developing your career towards becoming a Recruitment Consultant.
What you’ll be doing:
- 180 Recruitment role focusing on the resourcing side, engaging with candidates and talking through our relevant available roles
- Advertising vacancies on job boards & searching CV databases
- Pre-screening and qualifying candidates
- Completing compliance checks to a Gold Standard
- Working closely with our leading consultant to place candidates into roles
- Shadowing consultants and learning the full recruitment process
What we’re looking for:
- Strong people skills and ability to build relationships
- Some interest in working on significant, critical infrastructure Civil Engineering projects
- Excellent attention to detail
- Clear and confident communication & organisational skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word & Excel
What we offer:
- £26,000 - £28,000 starting salary
