This major water sector utilities contractor is looking to appoint a Contracts Manager to lead delivery on a range of waste water projects in Devon £5M to £10M on the South West Water framework, based from offices on the outskirts of Exeter. As Contracts Manager you will manage in-house and subcontract delivery teams to make sure schemes are delivered safely, on time, to specification and within budget, while maintaining excellent customer and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the divisions end-to-end delivery of wastewater projects, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Support PMs plan and programme works, monitor progress and provide accurate updates, forecasts and reports to the client and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee divisional project financials working closely with the Regional Framework Lead.
What you need
- Experience in an operational management or contracts manager position working in projects in utilities, ideally wastewater or wider water networks/civils.
- Strong project and management skills with a track record of delivering programmes to time, cost and quality.
- Good understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.
