About the role

  • Prepare, set up and operate various woodworking machines, including beam saws, edge banders and CNC routers.
  • Operate Biesse equipment, including vertical CNC and pod-and-rail machines.
  • Inspect machined parts throughout production to ensure dimensions, finishes and quality standards are met.
  • Plan and prioritise machining tasks to support production schedules and delivery deadlines.
  • Perform routine machine checks, change tooling and carry out basic troubleshooting when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience operating woodworking machinery within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Practical experience setting up and programming CNC machines, routers, beam saws and edge banders.
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications accurately.
  • A good understanding of machine tooling, routine maintenance and basic fault diagnosis.
