An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a long-term programme of water infrastructure works across Wales. This role offers genuine long-term security, working on a diverse portfolio of clean and wastewater capital projects as part of an established framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates and tender submissions for civil engineering and water infrastructure projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Price reinforced concrete structures, pipelines, earthworks and associated civils packages.
- Liaise with operational, engineering and commercial teams throughout the tender process.
- Identify project risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
Requirements
- Previous estimating experience within the UK water sector.
- Strong background in civil engineering capital projects.
- Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills.
- NEC contract knowledge is advantageous.
