For over 20 years, our client has delivered projects such as new pipelines, network maintenance, and the construction and upgrades of pumping stations and treatment facilities across Bristol and surrounding counties. Their approach emphasises collaboration and early contractor involvement to ensure reliable water distribution.
Responsibilities
- Have experience of applications and CVR's.
- Prepare forecasts and reports on cost, profit/loss, and value.
- Manage subcontractor enquiries and prepare contracts.
- Be responsible for minimising cost and maximising value, ensuring controls to manage and monitor the operating cost base.
- Assist with Risk and Value Management to optimise solutions and regularly review with the project team.
Qualifications
- Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Have experience working for a Civil Engineering contractor.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be experienced with commercially delivering multi‑million‑pound schemes.
- Have a good knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts.
Location
You will be based in our client's offices on the outskirts of Bristol and will be required to occasionally attend client meetings in Bath.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:30.
Salary
£45,000 - £59,000 per annum.
Benefits
