We are looking to recruit Machine Operators to join a busy, supportive production team in the Yatton/Clevedon area. You will be responsible for operating manufacturing machinery, inspecting finished products against specifications, and reworking components where required. The role involves working to production targets while maintaining consistently high standards of quality and safety.
What's on Offer for the Production Operatives / Machine Operators:
- Full-time, long-term employment
- Pay rate: £12.55 - £24.42 per hour, plus a monthly attendance bonus
- Day or night shifts available (fixed or rotating, AM/PM, Monday-Friday only - no weekends)
- Paid overtime available

Shift Patterns Available:
- Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm (training)
- After training: late shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) or rotating shifts (flexibility required)
- Fixed late shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm (flexibility required)
- Rotating day/night shifts (no weekends): 6:30am-6:30pm / 6:30pm-6:30am
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing machinery within your designated area to meet production targets
- Set up, adjust, monitor, and shut down machines safely
- Inspect finished products using measuring tools and equipment
- Read and work from technical drawings and specifications
- Rework components where required to meet quality standards
- Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch
- Load and unload materials and finished products (manual handling involved)
- Move stock within warehouse and production areas
- Accurately complete production and warehouse documentation
- Reduce material waste and support efficiency improvements
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Adhere to all quality, safety, production, and warehouse procedures
About You:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operative, or Warehouse Operative within a manufacturing environment
- Confident using measuring equipment such as micrometres and screw gauges
- Comfortable carrying out both production and warehouse duties
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
