Abatec is looking to appoint experienced Planners at all levels (Planner, Senior Planner, & Lead Planner) to join a growing Infrastructure team supporting the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of civil engineering schemes & projects. These are key roles responsible for providing planning, programming, project controls and methodology expertise from prequalification and tender stage through to project completion. Working closely with bid, design, commercial and operational teams, you will develop robust, deliverable programmes that support safe, efficient and successful project delivery.
The successful candidate will play an important role in shaping project strategies, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving programme certainty through effective planning processes and stakeholder collaboration.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead or support planning and programming activities for prequalification submissions, tenders and live projects
- Develop and maintain integrated programmes using Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject
- Produce construction methodologies, sequencing strategies and phasing plans
- Develop resource-loaded and cost-loaded programmes
- Monitor progress, undertaking critical path analysis, and identifying risks and mitigation measures
- (Senior/Lead level) Mentor and support junior planners and contributing to a high-performing planning function
Our client requires a Planners with:
- Experience in a Planning role (Planner, Senior Planner or Lead/Planning Manager level)
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject
- Experience developing and managing project programmes, including resource and cost loading (Senior/Lead level)
- Understanding of NEC planning requirements, programme reporting and project controls
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and project delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Salary/Benefits:
- £50,000 - £99,000 Depending on Experience
