An opportunity for a freelance Site Engineer to work on a major, high-profile project in Somerset. With over 12 months of work, this role is a good opportunity for a long-term freelance position. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with reinforced concrete structures and have a strong understanding of quality assurance on civil engineering projects.
As Site Engineer you will:
- Have multiple years’ experience working on civil engineering schemes
- Assist with as-built surveys and ensure works are delivered to specification.
- Carry out QA checks and conduct material testing.
- Support site management and Section Engineers with day-to-day delivery on site.
Our client requires a Site Engineer with:
- Valid CSCS and experience in heavy civils.
- A good understanding of quality assurance and temporary works.
- Excellent communication skills.
- HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience working on reinforced concrete structures.
Salary and benefits include: £375-£425 per day PAYE Umbrella.
