An opportunity for a freelance Section Engineer to work on a major, high-profile project in Somerset. With over 12 months of work, this role is a good opportunity for a long-term freelance position. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with reinforced concrete structures and have a strong understanding of quality assurance on civil engineering projects.
As Section Engineer you will:
- Have multiple years’ experience working on civil engineering schemes.
- Manage and mentor a team of Engineers, ensuring compliance with the project requirements.
- Identify and resource materials to support the programme of planned works.
- Have proven experience working on projects with heavy civil packages including reinforced concrete structures.
Our client requires a Section Engineer with:
- Valid CSCS and experience managing a section of works on a heavy civils project.
- A good understanding of quality assurance and temporary works.
- Excellent communication skills and experience overseeing site engineers.
- HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
Salary and benefits include: £425-£475 per day PAYE Umbrella.
