Abatec is seeking a Site Agent on a freelance contract to join our client, a leading contractor, for a highway improvement scheme project in Somerset.
We are looking for a Site Agent who has extensive experience working on highways and civil engineering projects and understands NEC contracts, environmental compliance and able to maintain a good relationship with the client and sub-contractors.
As a Site Agent, you will
- Be responsible for leading the site team as well as delivering schemes from inception to handover.
- Contribute to the day-to-day operations on site, including labour/plant/materials allocation, temporary works, health and safety.
- Ensure that projects are completed within budget, within programme deadlines and to our clients’ technical specifications.
- Liaise regularly with the Project Manager, providing programme and progress reports.
Our client requires a Site Agent with
- ONC/HNC/Degree or in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience working with highways maintenance and infrastructure schemes.
- SMSTS, NRSWA, First Aid at Work and CSCS
Salary and benefits include
- £400-£450 per day CIS Umbrella
