We’re looking for a Project Manager to join an independently owned multi-disciplinary Civil Engineering contractor supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure schemes across the South West. Achieving and maintaining turnover in the range of £55M, this multi-disciplinary contractor operates across four core divisions and can offer both variety and career progression with a focus on succession planning in the coming years.
Projects typically range from £2.5M to £12M and span primary infrastructure, highways, bridges, and associated civil engineering works. This particular opportunity centres around an £8M scheme based in the North Bristol / Almondsbury area, with a 12-month programme set to commence in Summer 2026. A capable site team is in place, including an experienced Site Agent and Foreman, providing a solid operational foundation.
The role will naturally suit someone comfortable taking ownership of project outcomes while working within an established team structure. You’ll be involved in coordinating delivery, maintaining programme and commercial awareness, and ensuring standards are upheld across safety, quality, and client expectations. Prior experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager is essential.
Montel offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of schemes, with scope to shape how projects are delivered as the business continues to evolve.
What’s on Offer:
- Competitive salary in the range of £75 - £85K p/a basic + package including leading car allowance
- Private healthcare
- Ongoing professional development, training, and clear career progression pathways
- Opportunity to work on high-profile, complex infrastructure projects and the autonomy to shape a central procurement division
