Service Engineer (Mechanical)

Kinetic are currently searching for a Service Engineer (Mechanical) for a leading Machinery/Equipment Manufacturing business in Holywell (Permanent)!

Basic week 8:00am to 4:30pm.

The role offers an interesting and varied role with the main duties including:

• Attending customer sites to install, commission, service, and repair a range of blasting equipment.
• Provide detailed and accurate reports on the condition of the customers’ equipment, following onsite machine examinations.
• To investigate/identify machine problems in an emergency breakdown situation – both mechanically and electrically.
• Identify situations whilst on site, where productivity or efficiency improvements to equipment can be recommended to the customer.

Essential Requirements:

• Full Driving License.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both customer-facing and with internal/external staff.
• Flexible working approach, which will include some weekend and unsociable working hours along with some overnight stays (hotels provided).

Experience:

Mechanical engineering: 1 year (preferred)
