- Full Stack Engineer (Dev Ops Focus) — AI Applications
- Remote
We're a fast-moving, early-stage company building and scaling AI applications and we're not looking for someone who just takes tickets and executes.
We're looking for a 10x engineer: someone who takes ownership, brings ideas to the table, pushes back when something doesn't make sense, and genuinely wants to shape the product, not just build what they're told.
About the Role
You'll extend our existing AI applications and help manage their growth in production, roughly an even split between building new features and maintaining what's already live.
This is a true startup environment: ambiguous, fast-moving, and light on hand-holding.
If you need detailed specs to get going, this probably isn't the role for you.
If you thrive on figuring it out, innovating, and driving things forward yourself… This is exactly the role for you.
What You'll Do
- Build and ship features across the full stack (frontend + backend) and propose the ones nobody's asked for yet
- Own Dev Ops for our AI applications on Google Cloud Platform, including scaling as usage grows
- Balance new development with ongoing maintenance, and make calls on what actually matters
- Bring ideas, challenge assumptions, and help shape technical direction — not just implement it
- Work independently with real ownership from day one
- Collaborate closely with a small, high-trust team that moves fast
What You Bring
- A can-do, no-excuses attitude and a bias toward action
- 3+ years of full stack development experience
- Strong Python skills, with hands-on experience in Django or Flask
- Experience scaling and managing AI applications in production
- Previous experience at a startup or early-stage company (you know what it feels like to build with limited resources and move fast)
- Professional English proficiency
- Comfort with ambiguity, and the initiative to create clarity yourself
- Logistics
- Remote first (occasional team meetups in London)
- UK standard business hours
- Very stable internet connection required
