In Belfast, you will lead a substantial caseload of high-value commercial disputes across courts, arbitration, and adjudication. You will operate within a market-leading disputes team, advising a top-tier client base with autonomy and practical commercial judgment. The role focuses on complex matters for plaintiffs and defendants, requiring cross-department collaboration and a results-driven approach. This is a senior seat with scope to shape and grow your own practice while contributing to the firm's dispute resolution leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead a substantial caseload of complex commercial disputes for plaintiffs and defendants
- Manage High Court and County Court litigation, arbitration, adjudication, mediation and expert determination
- Handle sensitive matters requiring strong commercial judgment
- Collaborate across departments to deliver tailored, results-focused service
Key requirements
- 5+ years’ PQE in commercial litigation or dispute resolution
- Qualification in Northern Ireland, or England & Wales / ROI with view to NI practice
- Track record of running complex matters with autonomy
- Excellent client-handling skills with a pragmatic, commercial approach
