We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented R&D Tax Manager to lead a portfolio of clients and ensure smooth, compliant processing of claims from start to finish. This is a significant role working with a team of technical specialists on niche projects with medium to large sized commercial businesses based across the UK.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage Client Portfolio – From inception to review
- Streamline Workflows – Ensure timely completion of jobs
- Lead & Mentor – Guide your team through the R&D process
- Client Engagement – Deliver educational seminars (in-person & Teams)
- Improve Processes – Help clients enhance record-keeping
- Compliance & Quality – Interview clients, meet R&D criteria, review reports
- Handle HMRC Enquiries – Resolve queries with confidence
- Train Junior Staff – Share knowledge and best practices
- Business Development – Drive growth and client success
Skills & Expertise:
- Demonstrable experience in R&D tax relief
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Strong client-facing experience
- Up-to-date knowledge of legislation & case law
