Overview
In this Belfast-based role you will lead high-value corporate transactions across acquisitions, disposals and investments, locally and cross-border. You will advise domestic and international clients, including banks, private equity and venture capital investors, on corporate matters and governance. You will work within a multi-disciplinary deal environment alongside banking, real estate, employment, IP and competition teams. The role offers a senior seat on complex, high-value work and a clear impact on the local market. You will drive deal flow and sustain strong client relationships within a technical, ambitious team.
Responsibilities
- Acquisitions, disposals, investments and wider corporate transactions locally and cross-border
- Acting for domestic and international companies, banks, private equity houses and venture capital investors
- Corporate governance advice for clients at every growth stage
- Multi-disciplinary deals with banking, real estate, employment, IP and competition colleagues
Key requirements
- 4+ years’ PQE in corporate/M&A within private practice
- NI qualification, or E&W / ROI qualification with a view to practising in NI
- Confidence running transactions and managing client relationships
- Sharp drafting and sound commercial judgement
- Client relationship management
