Overview
In Belfast, you join a leading commercial firm as an Associate in the Contracts & Technology team. You will draft and negotiate a range of tech-focused agreements, including supply, outsourcing, distribution, and licensing, while handling IP protection and data/privacy matters. The role offers exposure to software and hardware licensing for global clients and a mix of contract and regulatory work. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support ambitious tech clients and drive commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating supply, outsourcing, agency, distribution, reseller and OEM agreements
- Software and hardware licensing for local and global businesses
- Protecting and commercialising intellectual property
- Data protection, privacy and Freedom of Information advice
Key requirements
- Associate-level experience in commercial contracts, technology or IP
- NI qualification, or E&W / ROI qualification and a plan to practise in NI
- Practical, deal-focused approach to negotiation
